Like Charles said this is just the direct bans, there’s a whole regex section that goes one step further

“it being forced on all users” and it being “HARD-CODED” are one and the same thing, that’s what hard-coding means.
That’s what I was saying after I was being a little hyperbolic, I used a definition and your exaggerated capitalization of hard-coded interchangeably

But OpenStars! You’re commenting using the HARD-CODED frontend that talks to the HARD-CODED backend!!!
How disingenuous can you be?? People are clearly upset about the combination of it being a personal blocklist/vendetta/whatever and it being forced on all users, not solely the fact that omg it’s HARD-CODED. While some people may have disagreed with the slur filter it didn’t ultimately prevent interaction, enabled or not; unlike this.

Ah yes, a slur filter to prevent people from saying particularly messed up stuff, definitely the same as “I’ll block all of my enemies for everyone”

I’d wholly disagree with the assessment that the software requires cloud use or even their slicer. There’s still the perfectly viable LAN mode or loading it via SD card. Neither of which ever touch their cloud

Very epic insult! Next you’ll tell me gamergate is actually about ethics in journalism
They say they just have an RSS feed and they manually crosspost. I haven’t looked into if they have times they’re inactive (both because it’s not worth my time, and it’s particularly annoying now with the 30 different accounts), but their behavior is incredibly bot-like even if they’re not literally a bot. I’ve noticed a few times (read: this isn’t a valid statistical sample omg) that they got the cross post off within a minute of the original post.

The PWHL (as viewed in the states) so far has been very refreshing since you can just watch on youtube with the only real advertising being specific sponsored elements (power plays are sponsored, maybe something else too?), and the stuff on the boards— which they don’t (as best as I can remember) digitally animate and change all the time during the game, any ad breaks on the US youtube broadcast just get a “we’ll be right back” screen and/or a few team “ads”

Oh yeah! That does sound familiar

Not your down voter, but the liberty wasn’t a false flag, just a full out attack by israel

I enjoy not having corporate censorship deciding what I can and can’t see or say; not that I comment or post that much.
Yeah no worries, stuff happens lol
