Every car I’ve had in the last two decades has a door over the fuel hole that locks when the doors are locked.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Governments now have cyborgs so advanced they can take the form of your loved ones and infiltrate your family/social circle... Your move: What's your gameplan?
2·1 month agoYes, but it’s a Barbie version. Not in the “hot blond” way, but in the “no nipples on the plastic humps” and “completely smooth between the legs” way. And also no butthole.

That’s hot, are you sure you hooked up the fans?
At least someone is happy with the USA then.
Well deserved upvote!
If you don’t have lock picks, handgun with silencer, scuba suit and parachute in your car, you’re not prepared when your hero moment arrives.
But I had to break up with her.
Seven years later we got married
You’re not very good in breaking up, are you?
Mayb I refer to RFC-1149? We don’t need to reinvent the wheel if a perfectly fine standardized protocol allready exists.
Hear that? That’s the sound of millions of ER doctors and nurses screaming in despair.
Lol. The ones they find using this spyware just get invited to the Epstein club.
Oh Logins are horrible. For example. I have a 3D printer, it’s connected to my LAN. The software to use it, however, requires to a login to connected to this local device. This already sucks, the worst is that me and my wife both use this printer on our own computer and each time she uses it, I’m required to login again after she’s done. I hate this, because this shouldn’t be the case for a local device, secondly every service has different requirements for the password policy, thirdly the app doesn’t remember the password, fourthly, neither do I.
Still faster than using the “search” function.
That’s easy, you start in the first folder, look at each email until you find the one you need. If you reach the bottom and haven’t found the mail, move to the next folder and repeat.
For most that shouldn’t take more than 3 to 5 workdays.
Would be interesting for the CEOs of businesses that make BDSM products.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Videogames you always wanted to play but they did disappointed you?
8·2 months agoDuke Nukem Forever. As a teen Duke Nukem 3D was one of my most loved gaming experiences. Awesome game, came with easy to use level editor (Never got the original doom level editors to work back then). Played many many hours, made my own levels. Just plain loved the game.
Then the wait for Duke4Ever started and I waited, and waited and waited and (continue for 20 years so) and finaly got to play it.
It wasn’t bad really, it just wasn’t as fun as Duke3D was in my teens. It still had the same kind of humor, but never really hit any high notes. Weapons were limited, instead of having a weapon behind each number on the keyboard, now it was pick one up and drop one off.
Didn’t even try to see how the level editing was.
Maybe I’ll pick it up again if it’s a euro on Steam or GOG, as Duke3D still is loved childhood memory.

7·2 months ago5x 24 = 120. You’re not just immortal for the next 10 years, you have 1 in 5 chance to revive the death as well.

Goddammed. Guys. I lost The Game.
