Yes. We had a cat who was a bit of a glutton and would wake us up yowling in the early mornings. We stopped feeding him in the morning and just gave him a full day’s meal at night. He didn’t wake us up after that change.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why is the US currently obsessed with protein?
671·10 days agoAs a vegan, it’s annoying. This obsession makes everyone concerned “where I get my protein.”
But no one seems to track their fiber, sodium, iron, riboflavin, etc. and would be miffed if I constantly asked people about it.
That’s not how it works. Their organs are different and can’t process the high sodium in the same way. It’s definitely not good for them.
It’s probably fine this one time, but if you give it to her more than once, especially large portions like that, it could impact her health.

Makes sense. It’s still a wonderful image and the haze fits the atmosphere of the scene. If it was too sharp the photo would become unnatural.
This is a really great shot. I love the minimalism and negative space.
Personally, I might increase the sharpness/contrast around the pole and bird so it pops a bit more, but that could also be Internet compression or just personal taste.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why is bicycle riding so controversial in America?
156·10 months agoCar drivers break the law at a far higher rate than cyclists. The are way more accidents not involving bikers. Sorry people being healthy and helping the environment while reducing traffic is a slight inconvenience to you while you sit in a climate controlled box.
