To be fair, Will Vinton wasn’t doing a good job of running the studio, and if it weren’t for Travis Knight, the studio would have gone bankrupt and thousands would have lost their jobs.

And we got Coraline, ParaNorman, and BoxTrolls out of the whole deal, so it’s definitely a win.

To be fair, there are some things that work in comic books that don’t work in movies, and vice versa. But they should still try to adapt the comic panels so that it translates better to film, not change the storyline completely.

Also, we already have a Killing Joke movie and a Hush movie (unless you specifically meant big budget live-action adaptations).
