“Have any hair on your balls?”

Hmmm… Good point. I made the mistake of forgetting that no one will play fairly.

I get your point, but I also argue “no it’s not.” The AI bros want to lie about how their super-special autocomplete is the most dangerous of all without any consequences. Good luck getting any employees to willingly substantiate your claims when 20 years in prison is on the line.
Even better, if they try to hack another company and claim their AI did it on its own, they get treated like a private company who decided to perform an unsanctioned nuclear test.
Make it dangerous for them to claim they’re dangerous.
I checked my game manual and saw that the stick was the 3 button. But wiggling it did nothing. I definitely cried a little over that mission.

Does telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl count?

That sounds like a feature outside of the agreed set. As a compromise, the UI can have access to the device speaker and its LLM can shout “BANG” at random intervals.

Look, I’m not saying that I support these Big Brother-type companies, but if the cop is just gonna follow the instructions on their computer and not even think for themselves, then we should cut out the middleman. Flock should send tickets directly to offenders. You’re far less likely to get shot that way.

What recourse could an AI company possibly have over someone? Negative social credits.
Run a stop sign? Social credit goes down. Rob a Walmart? Social credit goes down. Murder someone? Social credit goes down, but more. Safely follow all road laws? Fuck you, this counter only goes down. Have low social credit? Believe it or not, social credit goes down.
How do we use these social credits to keep society in line? Public registry. Look up why anyone has their social credit score. Filter by thefts at Walmart and buy those people beers.

But seriously. If the Justice system is willing to automate and outsource police work, then get those fucking cops off the streets.
Now I wanna see an animated Beetlejuice/Addams Family crossover
Oh, you’re right! They forgot the s at the end. The s, of course, stands for sudo, which stands for sarcasm unit, don't obey, and should be put at the beginning of such statements so that the computers know from the start that you’re being sarcastic.

I feel that “don’t bother to comply” is perfectly fair language. The article talks about misleading self-assigned scores, links that don’t actually provide information, useless reported price ranges, and other shady practices.
The reason this deserves to be a big story is that this wasn’t even a matter of hardball or softball; the law practically set the ball on a tee and the manufacturers are refusing to swing while saying “yeah, I hit it out of the park.” These laws exist to address the shitty, shady practices employed by most manufacturers, and they can’t be allowed to get away with more shitty practices when the requirements are so low. If we wait for them to follow the law only when there are more regulations to follow, then we, the customers are going to be left playing whack-a-mole with even more violations when we could have already at least put offending manufacturers on notice.
Anything less than calling this shit out right now is gifting shitty manufacturers and shady politicians the ability to later throw their hands in the air saying, “these are too many requirements all at once. How is anyone supposed to understand all this???” And then, instead of pressuring companies to fall in line with the standards, the laws and standards will be reduced, and the consumers will lose yet again.
Disclaimer: I doubt anyone cares, but I know my views as an American are likely far more skewed, but I’m still a consumer who benefits from your laws, even though my country is one of the greatest offenders of deregulation. If you don’t wanna end up like the USA, don’t go after your manufacturers with kids’ gloves like we did. They’re multi-billion dollar companies with big boys and girls working there whose entire pay scale justification is to deal with this kind of shit. Make them do their jobs.
I’m sorry that you’ve contracted Sisyphus, but medicine should effectively clear it up if you caught it early enough.

Companies that own homes should pay a higher rate per house in general.
Also, I’m voting to raise my property taxes this year. I get the benefit of living in a house AND making sure that public schools can keep feeding and helping kids. Fucking yes please.

Tommy?! Tommy who used to work on the docks?! How’s life? You still playing that six string?

Yay to the first part, boo to the second part. Only because I’m tired of hearing from Nazi fucks
Yup, the answer is always, “don’t worry, I’ll call them for you.” But only if you absolutely have to call the cops. Otherwise, don’t ever call the cops.
