Eh, Trump is absolute bottom of my list. Even if it’s by a barely measurable amount, I trust everyone more than Trump. No exceptions.
Well, not exactly.
The entire purpose of patriotism is the tribalism; honestly, I didn’t believe a government exists that doesn’t encourage “us vs them” thinking. Now, that’s not to say all nations are xenophobic; but just because it’s not taken to the extreme does not mean it doesn’t exist.
At the end of the day this is all part and parcel of the millennia old class war that has fucked up nearly every society on this planet in one way or another.
It’s not about actual cost; it’s about menu price. The markup on fountain drinks is insane.
Direct Evidence…
The team’s results suggest…
Headline is factually incorrect.
Oh, so if you study something, that magically means there will be no prejudice? Whatever, dude.
Holy straw man, Batman!
Biff! Pow! Bang!
You are clearly defending a prejudice viewpoint. Go on with your bad self, or what the fuck ever. But you can right fuck off with putting words in my mouth to justify your bullshit.
Just so we’re clear, those are all your words, your arguments, your bullshit.
So, exactly what qualifications are necessary to speak out against prejudice?
Her face doesn’t convey a light-hearted situation. That’s your context.
And frankly, clarifying an openly disrespectful act as ok, because it’s “light-hearted”, is ridiculous.
I don’t see the humor. Just some dick being disrespectful to a person that trusts them.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Disturbing is definitely the right word. If wealth and material assets weren’t concentrated so badly, it seems there ought to be plenty of resources to go around. If only those resources would actually be distributed as they should…

The paranoid conspiracy theorist in me has been wondering if their plan involves intentionally devaluing traditional currency, the dollar, etc, to speed the adoption of crypto… somehow? But, there’s plenty of gaping holes in that theory, I’ll admit.
Local support networks are so important right now, either way. So that’s where I’m trying to focus my attention.
First, I pay attention to if an article references an original source. If not, see if they’re the only one reporting the events in question.
I also tend to look at community reactions a lot, see what other random people have to say. That’s a horrible way to verify truth, but on the other end, it’s the effect of the actions or events that will really matter.
And, yeah, I doubt Fox “News” has referenced an original source in decades, so I’m very skeptical of anything they report. And if they’re the only ones talking about something, I generally assume it’s completely false.
