not to downplay the events as tragic as they are but the headline made me think this happened like, yesterday.
I don’t remember any protests or marches about this.
…which doesn’t really mean much as an argument.
Wasn’t meant to. I was highlighting the fact that 15000 have been murdered but nobody marches or demonstrates for them. Nobody is raising questions in the UN or using the g word.
Is this a reference to the ICJ case on Gaza? A coup leading to civil war is different than an apartheid the West (which runs international geopolitics) has been directly involved with for almost a century, so obviously it’ll get a different amount of attention. Not to mention many Palestine protests directly mention Sudan, Yemen, The Congo, etc. I find it a little odd you’re using one conflict to discount another. You’re welcome to join the protests and raise awareness for Sudan, no one is stopping you and people will even cheer you on.
