It’s unfortunate there isn’t really a way to migrate accounts from one server to another. You basically have to create a new account which is a bit of a pain.
There is an open issue on GitHub for this. You can try raising your voice there in hope of some update.
Definetly. Mastodon has had this feature for some time. Eventually Lemmy will be too.
