as capitalism took final control of the last functioning government and ceased all planetary protections in favor of profits, the last few remaining oxygen producers finally died triggering the death of earth. All humans alive didn’t even realize they all took their last breath, slowly closed their eyes and fell asleep for the last final time.

It lasted almost a minute, for some that was their final dream as their bus barreled into the oncoming car. It’s suprising how often you sleep, even if you didn’t notice, you just closed your eyes for a second.
I suppose the weird thing was that nobody really noticed; it was just a strange coincidence that a lot of accidents happened in the same timespace. Not excatly a headline, so we just kept going - and didn’t really take notice.
