Thousands of people turned out for the 10th World Dog Surfing Championships over the weekend, an annual event in Pacifica, California, south of San Francisco. And the photos from the event are adorable.

It’s impossible to know what the dogs are thinking, but, the bigger dogs looks like they’re having a blast. The smaller dogs look like they’re scared and afraid.

Far from wholesome. People put their animals into possibly dangerous situations to get recognition and views for themselves. Animals are not asking this, it’s all about the people.
