There's still nothing like this anime classic that combines mystery, noir trappings, and massive mecha battles in one series.

    Literally the only thing I remember from watching when I was like 11 is the episode where a mad scientist puts a copy of his torso on a little go kart while it repeatedly shouts “Big O!” Into the wristwatch that summons it.
