Escape from New York meets Ghost in the Machine.

I think it’s a shame it’ll be a month late as compared to the in-universe significant august 2023 event, but that’s fine.

I think it looks way more cinematic than the base game. I’m not sure how much were going to be feeling that, especially since that runs the risk of railroading players and removing our freedom.

Still, I am stoked.

I had this game on launch and I’ve never been so disappointed by a game. Curious if after all the updates and this expansion if it will be worth giving a try again.

I waited until the first big patch to pick it up, but I definitely really enjoyed it overall. By that point I knew it wasn’t going to be GTA: Cyberpunk and just enjoyed the world and story for what it was.

I do wish the world was a little more interactive, but despite that it can be really fun to just wander around and get lost in it.

They can change systems but the story can’t change much.

There is a vibrant modding scene on Nexus for the game on PC. Lots of interesting mods to change the play experience. I feel the game will forever be solid but also somewhat disappointing. It had the potential to be so much more and isn’t at the level of The Witcher 3.
