I agree. Leaving your stuff with someone is a thin thread of connection that can survive you. Rejecting stuff is rejecting that connection. So those of us who are younger need to find a replacement connection.

I think men are as good at picking up on hints as anyone. I think their entitlement often leads them to ignore said hints, and then they try to cover their backsides by claiming ignorance.

I used to think I was stupid, but then Trump and Covid happened and I realized I’m relatively brilliant.
I liked the idea of Beehaw, but it ended up being rather like an HOA. You weren’t allowed to ever disagree, no matter how gently, because it “wasn’t nice.” They ironically tried to reduce bullying by bullying people.

I mean, you teach yourself to drink something that tastes rotten. It impairs your ability to think and accomplish basic tasks. It increases your risk for legal trouble. It can make you vomit and sick the next day. It damages your internal organs, and it costs a ton. Finally, it traps you into needing it.
Yet, it’s the people who DON’T do it who are weird?
The most emotional people I know have been logic-worshiping men.
