Musk decided to respond to the EC’s findings on Friday by claiming: "The European Commission offered X an illegal secret deal: If we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us.
“The other platforms accepted that deal. X did not.”
The same Musk who in March said, “Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President,” and reportedly now has donated to a super PAC working to elect Donald Trump to the White House.
Lmao. What a response. Doesn’t respond in any way, instead blames eu for some random “illegal secret deal”. Sure bud.
Weird how much that response sounds like Trump. Just say random bs to divert the actual question.
Some countries have limits to nfc payments with a card. Finland has 50e but with a phone no limits (unless the bank limits).
Thank fuck.
Though they’ll make opt-out soon enough, when the backlash has dwindled down.
Started Valheim again with a friend of mine. Having a blast! No mods but we kinda wanted to add a few for an immersive no-map run.
I started playing Enderal, the full overhaul mod for Skyrim. Seems quite fun. Maybe 10h in now.
Dunno, I got entirely different results. Reddit, homeairguides, forbes, a bunch of listicles like consumerreports, wired, ny times, cnet and whatnot, and other websites.
Full price books? Digital. Then second hand physical (rarely) and books from a library.
Basically he is giving you info on how to interpret the result you got. A t-test (Student’s t-test) gives a “p-value” which sometimes comes up in some articles regarding a statistical result. It is a way of assessing whether the result you got is different enough from the expected value (a fair die) taking into account that you can’t throw the dice an infinite amount of times. Generally a p-value less than 0.05 is considered statistically significant* and you can trust your result.
You can do the calculation here too if you want to get some values about it and more info.
*) Sort of means that there is only a 5% probability that your result is due to randomness.
Yes, and for quite a few money doesn’t even change anything. People are different.
Black Russian is my thing most of the time. Also gin sour without egg is great.
Chili and bean soups sound great, I’ll take a look, thanks!
Yeah maybe, haven’t really looked at what I could do with one. Though they’re probably a decent bit more expensive.
Got a robo vacuum (Roborock q revo). Amazing stuff. It runs every day and the first floor has never been cleaner.
Air fryer has been fun though I’m still trying to learn what works well with it.
3D printer (Bambulab A1)! So fun.
I just realised that I’ve spent like 2k on gadgets in the past two months oops.
Though I really really want a rice cooker but haven’t pulled the trigger… yet.
Something a bit cheaper is this home made bread that needs no kneading and is amazing.
3dl water (1.3 cups) pouch of dry yeast (11g, 0.38oz) 1tsp salt 1tbs maple syrup (or whatever syrup) 2dl of dried oats (0.85 cups) 5dl of wheat flour (2.1 cups) 2tbs neutral oil (haven’t tried olive) Seeds if you like!
Mix up dry ingredients. Add lukewarm water and mix (add a splash or two extra if it looks like not everything is mixed into the dough). Do not knead, just mix. Add oil and mix slightly. Put a baking sheet in a bread pan and pour the dough in it. Add a spritz of water on the dough surface (not necessary though). Cover and leave in room temperature for 30min. Bake at 175C (350f) for 45-60min.
I think I’ll make one.
Man, I should watch the movie. Also finish the last 50ish pages on the book.
Nice! What did / will you buy to celebrate?
I have a big sister and we get along well. We don’t hang out much and such but we both spend a good amount of time atvour parents place as we live close by. We all get along extremely well.
If 7.1 isn’t necessary and you already have a mic, I would suggest you take a peek at just normal audiophile headphones. If you don’t mind Reddit, some good pointers and ideas in this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/HeadphoneAdvice/comments/yobt7y/has_anyone_used_audiophile_headphones_for_gaming/.
I’ve been using Beyerdynamic DT880 pro for a few years and they’re amazing. Comfortable as hell and pads can be removed easily and cleaned or swapped. Great sound, zero regrets with these headphones. The entire DT lineup from them is very good as far as I know. Another go-to option is Sennheiser’s 600 series, but they’re a bit more expensive. There are numerous others but those are the ones that I know of.
I would suggest browsing what the /r/HeadphoneAdvice has to say, asking about audiophile headphones for gaming is a common question.
Wasn’t it in the end of Inception that the wheel or whatever wobbles which meant that they’re still in a dream? I feel like I remember thinking that the ending isn’t real due to it.
I and my fiancee play Pandemic with our friends on occasion. We’ve played the game a lot and know how to do things, and our friends have basically never played it.
I low key hate it that my fiancee doesn’t let our friends do what they want. Instead, she keeps playing for them: “Ok you should go there and cure that one block and use that card to fly there so you (points next person) can trade that card to him next turn”. Our friends just have a blank state and go “ooohhookaay” and do it and have zero idea why.
I try to tell her that just let them play its fine if it is dumb decision, its fine if we lose. But she keeps doing it anyway! I always try to “beat her to the punch” and ask our friends what they want to do and if they don’t know maybe give few possibilities and let them decide and hope that my fiancee doesn’t interrupt lol.
