In the winter especially, you go to work in the dark. Spend all day indoors with no windows while the sun is out. And then drive home in the dark to a dark house.

James Cameron was the producer of Dark Fate, and did the writing. He didn’t direct, but it was still his movie.

And his Avatar movies are just Ferngully, which is just Dances With Wolves, which are all retellings of Lawrence of Arabia. I don’t know why they’re so successful when Avatar is nowhere near as good as Lawrence of Arabia.

No thanks. Just let it end. Hollywood isn’t capable of making interesting new ideas, so they zombify the old ones and they just don’t measure up.

The only writer/director I trust to continue a franchise is George Miller and Mad Max. Everything else has been a disappointment.

It does slow down after that. Eventually, it picks back up during Endwalker and that does really well on it’s own, but in the shadow of Shadowbringers it’s hard to measure up. Endwalker would be my second favorite expansion. Even post-EW was good. But then it drops like a rock for Dawntrail. That’s my least favorite of the entire series. Maybe they’ve turned it around, idk. But I quit in the post-DT around one of the quests that just says “Speak to Wuk Lamat” AGAIN and I just don’t know why we’re still hanging out with that loser who falls into success.

It does get good at the climax of the base game, A Realm Reborn, when Rauban loses control. That’s what hooked me. There are other great moments and plots along the way through the whole game . But for the overall best time, it’s the 3rd expansion, Shadow Bringers, that’s a masterpiece all the way through. That’s some of the best Final Fantasy I’ve ever played from Squaresoft or SquareEnix.

Dawntrail, I can’t recommend. I can’t get into it.

High School of the Dead has a great opening as well - Kishida Kyoudan & the Akeboshi Rockets. It’s also a really fun anime.

Call of the Night’s entire anime was written around the song in their season 1 opening. It’s pretty good as well.

Someone already mentioned Cowboy Bebop, and that entire soundtrack is perfect. They wrote many episodes to fit the music they made first.

Tokyo Ghoul had that meme of the opening for a while, because that one part sounds really nice when it hits.

It’s odd that they consider the really specific case of a teen that works two jobs to make ends meet, and decide to make national sweeping changes to accommodate that. No, no way could it have any negative effect on anyone else. And they definitely shouldn’t try to address the problem of one job for that teen not being enough to support themselves.

You can buy a title from Sealand, a dubious claim to a pirate radio station built upon a WWII sea platform. It’s not officially recognized by the UK, but is just offshore from them. They have the debatable claim of actually being able to sell titles because it’s created land outside the UK.

Yeah, the problem is we’ve been kept powerless over big issues. When we found out about oil companies poisoning the earth, we SHOULD have had the power to put the whole company on trial.
