I always was about the money. Nirvana even named one of their songs Radio Friendly Unit Shifter.
If all the kids wanted to listen to death metal, there would be death metal on the radio.

I think this is one of the first generations where kids, in general, listen to softer pop music compared to their parents.
Until means up to the point. The sentence implies a change at the point of being old.
Yes c++ == c. That’s the point Bjarne Stroustrup made. It is the C language but then it’s better.
Nowadays they’re not completely compatible. But originally it was a preprocessor that created the C equivalent to be compiled. You could write C++ that compiled with a C compiler as long as you didn’t use the extra features.
???
If c = 1, then c++ = 2
#include <iostream> using namespace std;
int main() {
int i = 10;
cout << i++ << endl;
cout << i << endl;
}
postfix ++ increments the variable.
Unfortunately what you are most comfortable could also cause repetitive stress injury like carpal tunnel. I have a brother in law who damaged his nerves because a Macplus keyboard felt best to him.
Why? I’m not anti-cartoon by any means
Why do you hold Marvel to a higher standard than Bugs Bunny?
You are going to lose your mind in rage when you discover people enjoy Bugs Bunny cartoons.
Yes. Dark Night Rises was bad and that was one of the reasons.
Some people stand to lose a lot of money (think pharma industry becoming obsolete or similar) and plot against it. Avengers snuff out the plot, defeat evil mastermind
That was the plot of Ironman. Stark wanted to end weapons development. Stain stood to loose money.
Secondly why should a more technological advanced setting be unrecognizable to the viewer
An Ironman cartoon addressed it a little by having Stark install his reactors everywhere for free clean energy.
But really it’s because people go to a Marvel movie to see their comic books as live action, not watch another Star Trek movie.
Because that’s the result of actual God level superhero intervention. Full Luxury Gay Space Communism. There’s nothing for a friendly neighborhood Spiderman to do. *
The hypothesis falls apart when the author ties the real world problems of poverty, injustice and ecological disasters to the superheroes negligence.
The premises of the movies are that they are grounded in the real world. As such if superheroes transformed the world it would no longer be a recognizable setting for movie audiences.
2 hours of showing Iron Man digging wells in Africa isn’t entertaining.
The ability of an individual, even if superpowered, to change society is extremely limited. We have the example of Bill Gates having spent decades and tens of billions just to irradicate a single disease. What is Captain America going to do to control health care costs? Beat cancer cells in a petri dish?
Can you name one superhero movie that follows the plot of the OP comic?
The closest I can think of is Thanos killing half the people in the universe and the heroes trying to stop him. You’re on Thanos’s side?
I’m unfamiliar with Mac programming but that looks normal. Do those function calls become absurdly long when used?
Here’s one I found on Google from the jdk:
InternalFrameInternalFrameTitlePaneInternalFrameTitlePaneMaximizeButtonPainter
Yes that’s not a typo, internalframe is repeated.
It’s java. Extremely drawn out method names is it’s calling card.
Burned DVD’s or mass manufactured? Purchased can last forever although aluminum substrate corrosion has happened in humid environments.
Verbatim is still around. They still say, “Up to 100 years”. 10 years is up to 100 years.
Play the lottery. You could win up to $1M dollars.
USB sticks are only rated for 10 years. So you should only expect 5. Physically they will last much longer but the electrons leak out of the floating gate unless re-written.
Weird to highlight the 4th highest. What’s going on in Lesotho? It’s 3x higher than South Korea.
You are describing The Sex Pistols. But they were harder than the music their parents listened to. (In the 1970’s, the parents would have listened to 1940’s music.)
