Guessing 2/10. Real name is very common. I’ve made plenty of shitty and dumb comments over the years, but it would simply be embarrassing and that would be it. I don’t hold any important or public positions.

Breakroom at my father’s office had snack and soda vending machines, and also a change machine. My younger brother and I discovered the change machine was faulty, and would dispense way too much change for a dollar bill. We fed it every single we had (4 or 5 dollars between us) and got back $20 or so in quarters, nickels and dimes. This was in the late 1970s. $20 was a lot of money, especially to a couple of dumb kids. We thought we’d hit the jackpot.
This is why some places like Michigan State University and Ohio State University use “desire path planning”. That’s where they observe where people walk and then install (or move) the sidewalks to match those footpaths.
Everything has to be shorter, because gnat-like attention spans.
Unfortunately I think most people have family or at least friends like this here in the post-truth world.
I think what depresses me the most is that once the MAGA leopards start eating all of our faces, they will still do the mental gymnastics to blame all of the MAGA-induced suffering on “liberals”. Even though the Democrats have basically zero power (and are right of center) they will still blame “the left” when a gallon of milk costs $18 and is full of dangerous bacteria.
Having a dedicated smoker is next level. You can smoke on a regular grill and get decent results. But having a purpose-built smoker is better, IMO.
“If Books Could Kill” vibes.
The Road.
I tried it for a while. It was fun making basic open chords. But I could never figure out how to keep my fretting fingers from partially muting the non-fretted strings. I don’t have super fat fingers or anything, I just couldn’t figure it out.
And barre chords…forgeddaboudit.
My music “career”.
Most apps invoke my inner Dennis Reynolds.
It’s a shitshow. LinkedIn, too.
Agree. Most of the new stuff Microsoft adds in their updates are desperate ideas concoted in staff meetings, just so some beleaguered coder can tell the dickhead boss they pushed out a shiny new turd. And/or they just add more spyware for the corporations that pay for bulk licenses and the data miners.
Nextdoor has gotta be in the top 10.
Good chance to curate my block list.
