What sarcasm? That was a straight forward statement. Where I’m from that’s a pretty rude thing to do.
And he gave the dude a present only to take a picture and put it on the Internet
I dunno*, if ever there were a symbol for reaction instead of proaction, it’s Batman. Punch their face, toss them in an “asylum”. Sometimes announce to noone in particular, “they’ll get you the help you need.” Like he actually believed it or is trying to convince himself, as if it wasn’t the 15th time he’d bloodied this guy’s face. Great detective, though.
*I’ve never read the comics
I love how this company repeatedly rags on Hellmann’s, but even more I love their Black Friday gags. But even more I love their political actions. I know it’s all just marketing, but it’s incredibly entertaining.

It’s surprising because it was not worth that at the time, and she knew they’d develop all around her, and she lived there. This wasn’t an investment property and she wasn’t holding out for more. She was just stubborn and didn’t want to move. It has sold a couple times since then for ~300k.
My wife read to me when we were going to sleep. We both enjoyed it, but she’d get more energized and excited about the story as she read while I’d slowly fall asleep. Opposite effects.
She was only annoyed that she’d sometimes say “are you awake?” and I’d answer yes, so she’d keep reading. But I was absolutely asleep.
10/10 recommend couples reading to each other.
I love it. Order when you’re ready. Don’t have to wait until the waiter is done helping the other table. See additional “substitution” options listed that you wouldn’t have thought of trying. Pay and leave when you’re ready to go
I imagine there was a time that it wasn’t
Also not a fan but Palm Springs is an insanely fun movie
“Pron was the only time you could be with a girl without your parents present”
How about deep diving? It’s not easy and consistent with one app, but it’s pretty satisfying to be the one figuring stuff out.
Or local city planning. Future plans on what to build and where. Doesn’t update as frequently, but it’s something to circle back to on occasion, or you might want to get involved and go to a meeting.
Some people like to listen to police scanners, or alternatively there is usually someone with a social media account who posts just the most important or funniest transmissions from the city/county/whatever
Or you could get an idle game app that you occasionally need to pop into to collect money and upgrade.

Portland airport parking garage has these lights at each spot, along with a digital sign at the start of each level telling you the number of open standard spots and handicap spots on that level

Many universities have money that they are allowed to use to invest, as long as the principal is used for explicit educational purposes. The investments are supposed to be public/reported, though there have always been complaints that they aren’t.
Students are protesting at college campus that have reported investments in Israel related companies (some, notably, directly related to war efforts) to demand the universities divest from those investments. Some universities have conceded and done so. Others have just called the cops.

This happened in 2022.
A government investigation released its report at the end of January this year. The families of the victims, as well as the survivor, praised the report and the commission’s recommendation of charges for Corporate Manslaughter They are begging the government to take action. This was the latest info I could find.
The report squarely blames Paria (and names one person in particular) for blocking rescue attempts by the diving company and ignoring expert divers to whom they had access.
The survivor, Chris, doesn’t think any charges will happen, has a fear of diving now, and has nightmares of the voices in the pipe.
She realizes she’s a natural ice skater, too, because a dreamy boy teaches her. Sandler, who is pissed at the boy’s attitude and unadmittedly jealous, doubles down his efforts to learn to skate from his own elderly mentor (whom he may or may not accidentally kill).
Sandler’s daughter pulls Drew’s shirt up over his head and starts wailing on him after Drew makes fun of Sandler’s skating ability, but not before Sandler threatens to cut him with an ice skate.
I’ve been enjoying Suicide Squad. Very redundant but entertaining enough. I hate everything it stands for, but I guess the gameplay style is right up my alley.
I coulda thrown it over those mountains.
That’s not showing in my blue city, but another movie “Am I Racist?” is showing (or not? Maybe they don’t hit play if the theater is empty).
It seems to be about a racist guy who takes on a disguise so nobody recognizes him as the racist guy and pretends to be a mentally ill progressive or something and interviews people
