I’m surprised they’re doing another. Season 11 is so weirdly parallel to the Simpsons season 11. They’ve left their golden age behind and are just milking it… for what? This once revered show is being revived so it can go down in a blaze of mediocrity.

I think just spreading awareness is a step in the right direction. Most people I know just have no clue and continue purchasing the established mainstream programs. I encourage people to give GIMP a try instead of buying photoshop, or OfficeLibre instead of MSOffice. Most of them are ecstatic to save a couple hundred bucks. The more people that use FOSS software the more likely we are to get the support it needs.

I find star trek boring too, there’s a lot of far more interesting and exciting scifi out there so I really don’t get how it still has such a huge fan base still.

That said, if they start dropping the hard Rs in Star Trek I will definitely tune in to that catastrophe.

Duckduckgo is a firefox addon for desktop. On iOS it utilizes a fork of Safari.

I have yet to try the last two. I really enjoy duckduckgo on my phone, but I know there was some controversy. I guess I’m lazy but I love the fire button that burns away all your open tabs and history in one click. Started using Brave recently and I kind of enjoy how it reports how much stuff its blocked and the breakdown of what it all is. I have had no noticeable issues with either one.

I’ve had occasional hiccups with Memmy not loading comments or just straight up giving an error. I had to delete and reinstall to fix it. Its been working fine ever since
