1·5 months agoThe capability for language is obviously inherent and no one has disputed that for 70 years, the question is whether it’s domain specific like the generativists claim or domain general like the functionalists claim.
In Denmark, 30 minutes and catered food in a cafeteria is pretty standard. No one goes out to lunch.
I’d rather stick with 30 minutes and get off work early, mind you.

This is a feature of the 5th Republic, and to be honest when you look at French politics from the outside I dont blame de Gaulle for creating it this way, your parliamentarians cannot compromise for shit.


I mean, it’s always been a lot of fun to have kids, exhaustion or not. Literally the greatest and most long running project in most lives, and a source of meaning if not always happiness. I think people are crazy to deny themselves that kind of grounding and foundation to build a life on, but I acknowledge that people have different desires and goals in life.
