Even biological code can compile randomly at times!
they want to shoot the update screen windows
Shucks, I originally joined beehaw but they were blocking too many sites, and switched on September. Ruined my true cake day
Only in the absence of oxygen, right? Otherwise it just burns all the way.
thank you for reminding my to take out the dead batteries from my Ti-86 before they leak!
still have it next to my desk… since 1997 or so.
How do YOU edge?
100% calorie counting, NO ‘extra’ exercise. Lost 30 lb in 30 weeks just by being ~500 cal negative every day.
Don’t drink calories, skip breakfast, and cutting out obvious ‘junk’ made it rather easy once I got past the first 4 weeks of willpower & adjustment.
that’s it, nothing fancy. (40yr old male)
I see that now, thanks!
Of course, an answer leads to a new question - if the 1TB storage of the CloudKey+ sufficient for a house with 4 cameras or so. I guess if I stay at the 2K Bullet, and it only records motion, it should be enough for a week or two.
thanks for the info. Looking at the comparisons, I wonder if the G5 Pro vs AI Pro I’d just save the $120 each and go with G5Pro, only difference I see is the AI stuff.
or… save another $250 each and go down to G5. I’ll be spending enough money on the whole system, might be a “shame” to then get the “cheap” camera. I have time to think about it though!
Interesting - they don’t seem available at all now. Even the G4s are more expensive than the G5s.
but yeah, what a huge jump from cheapest G5 to next one up ($130 to $379), plus you need at least the UNVR.
which ones? Also looking to make this addition/upgrade soon. Nothing crazy, just being able to see my front & backyard. I already have Unifi AP so it’s nice to see that people like the cameras.
Thinks makes me wonder if they could make a “closed system” outside the natural range - like a giant greenhouse that includes the plant AND the bee.
Which would then turn into a movie-worthy story about the bees getting out and somehow causing the zombie apocalypse.
OR - it would just be BioDome with Pauly Shore. But with bees.
ok so, I know we’re supposed to be all mad at Netflix for ads & prices and stuff, but I watched that entire preview video and I’ll admit a large portion of them look good. Or, in typical Netflix style - good enough to watch.
I agree, even the ingredients part, except referring to color/flavor additives.
But cane sugar is an utter “word trick” that means absolute nothing. It is just as processed, and is exactly as good for you, as corn syrup. It’s an example of “health theater” that companies do with labeling.
Where’s your knife?
Shinobi
If starting from scratch - what camera recommendations would you give to connect to Shinobi?
I installed mint, kubuntu, and pop on a 3060 laptop, and 3080 desktop, and none had issues with GPU, drivers, or gaming. I am brand new to this, starting 2 weeks ago, I’m not experienced for sure.
Lutris gave me a command line to update vulkan, or similar, but otherwise mostly CLI-free too.
Pop specifically has an Nvidia iso as well.
THAT SAID- I still agree this is a “hobby” and if you don’t have time to mess with it, then Linux still isn’t “it just works!!” Like people will claim.
“neat ideas for $50?”
Not to go down a rabbit hole that’s off topic, but I’m generally not offended by Steam’s cut. The platform, advertising, centralizing, hosting, and cloud saves, etc etc, seem like a major benefit, especially for smaller developers, that would allow them to get to market faster, and with a much larger audience.
