To clarify, moths have been around way longer than butterflies, and butterflies evolved from moth‑like ancestors that switched to flying in the daytime. So in an evolutionary sense, butterflies are just a specialised branch of moths, even though we treat them as their own group today in taxonomy. Moths are the OG Lepidoptera.

That’ll be because all butterflies are just moths that fly in the daytime. Moths are substantially older and have substantially more variance.

As a side note, the ‘buttetfly’ in the famous kids book ‘The very hungry caterpillar’ is in fact a moth as it comes from a cocoon.

What is it with Americans and criticising British teeth when Americans, as records show year on year for many decades in world dental health figures, have terrible teeth health and more missing teeth compared to Brits.

As are songs. I have a playlist with about 3000 songs I like in one folder, and it’ll jump through genres from song to song. I like all the songs, so I don’t care about mood changes.

I also find there are album songs on most albums that I like that I don’t particularly enjoy or feel like filler.

I go with The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly theme by Morricone.

If you want covers better than originals, Johnny Cash is your man. His ‘America 1-4’ albums are full of them.

I would’ve thought it would be pretty silent as there were no atoms and no medium for sound to travel at the initial moment.
