I was just picking up food at a gas station and had a woman stair me in the eyes and ask me if I believed in god. I thought she may have been setting up for a joke about the touch screen, but when she just asked again and I silently walked away. She then moved onto another person and I waited for my food to be finished outside. When I came back in, she had cornered an employee. There was a trump rally outside, so I do believe that she was more likely to have been an evangelical over something else.

A friend’s wife “makes” and sells AI slop prints. He had to make a twitter account so he could help her deal with the “harassment”. Not sure exactly what she’s dealing with, but my friend and I have slightly different ideas of what harassment is and I’m not interested in hearing more about the situation. The prints I’ve seen look like generic fantasy novel art that you’d see at the checkout line of a grocery store.

I wasn’t thinking of any in particular, but that’s one of them. I remember an old story about how some lab couldn’t get any good signals around the same time every day. They were chasing bugs for months before realizing that someone brought in a microwave and was heating their food on break with it. Labs like that normally only allow toaster ovens and such.

Could also be a radio research site, but I doubt OP wouldn’t know that’s where they are. If the equipment is sensitive enough to be effected by a retail microwave, they’re already in a valley way outside of any town.

BBT has terrible “jokes”. Nerd jokes are fine, but this is lazy writing and the “nerd humor” is the only thing that sets this show apart from other sitcoms.

The terms “addiction” and “dependence” can seem similar, but they are different. Dependence occurs when the body physically relies on a drug. Addiction involves changes in behavior.

They’re different in the US where the show was written and the target audience is. Sitcoms just have terrible, toxic people in them because it’s easier to write conflicts. It’s Always Sunny is aware of that and takes the idea to the extreme without making the MCs likable. BBT is just lazy writing with lazy “nerd jokes”

Use chapstick

My first exposure to Big Bang Theory was the scene where they made fun of one of their friends for “wearing lip gloss” and refusing to call it chapstick. It was so weird and toxic and I assumed it was a gay panic joke before finding out it was the nerd show I was avoiding. Fucking terrible show.

People are mad because he denounced Gass when Gass made comments regarding Trump’s would be assassin missing, but security at concerts are trash and it’s reasonable the the both of them could be shot by a Trump supporter.

Having the BBEG be a bigot and having their bigotry be integrated into the plot is fine. I’m talking about having an irrelevant NPC just exist as the butt of jokes for the players. I feel like I would just get tired of hearing those interactions repeated for hours.
