I noticed this last time I was at a theater too, the giant concessions stand and the multiple soda fountains were not enough of an advertisement apparently. There were also ads for multiple different sodas shown before the movie.

I wouldn’t think it would make much of a difference. The thing that breaks people out of prejudice is interacting with people from different backgrounds, the most bigoted people I’ve ever met were all people who were proud they didn’t travel.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.
Mark Twain

They literally can’t. If they go too long between spider man movies the rights revert back to Marvel.
My reading is probably 60% audiobooks, 30% ereader and 10% ebooks on my phone. I could read entire books on my phone, but I just don’t find that as enjoyable or immersive as the ereader. The amount of distractions on the phone is also a big negative. I use the app koreader to sync progress between the ereader and phone, so wherever I am I can always open up a book instead of scrolling YouTube shorts or whatever, but I still end up doing that more than I should.
Yes, he represents Christians in the eyes of normal people. So does the Catholic church, the Morman Church, and the Westbruo Baptist Church. All of these groups go around saying they are in the same club as you, why should we care that you think your part of the club is different?

If only we could move the production of solar or wind energy closer to where it’s needed. In a different comment you ask how we would ship solar energy from the Americas to Australia. This is a huge problem and may never be solved, if only the sun was shining in Australia maybe we could just harvest the energy there…

I’ve only ever modified files I’ve found online, never designed anything myself in Cad and I find plenty of real uses for my 3d printer. It probably paid for itself just printing organization bins and other things for the house. Just last week I bought some cheap shelves from IKEA clearance without any hardware, printed out some feet and now I have a new monitor stand. I regularly print accessories that I would otherwise have to pay extra for (like tripod mounting plates)
Plus there are some pretty amazing projects out there that get a lot cheaper if you have access to a printer. Personally I’ve printed a pair of astronomy binoculars https://www.analogsky.co/ and a custom mechanical keyboard fitted to my hand. https://ryanis.cool/cosmos/beta

When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.

Why would you care about code coverage requirements on a branch that is currently in development? My work in progress commits might not build because they don’t even compile, let alone have passing tests. The only time I care about the build passing and meeting requirements is when I’m ready to create the pull request.
Also code coverage is a useless metric, but that’s a different story.

Yeah that sounds like a terrible experience, let’s not pretend it only affects Tesla though. Lemon laws exist because all auto manufacturers run into issues like this (at different rates, Tesla may be worse then others)

If you believe people online my car would constantly be falling apart and in and out of the shop. In reality I’ve only had to take it in twice, once for new tires, and once for a new AC compressor after Tesla detected was bad before it failed (covered under warranty).
I would not rebuy my car today because there are many more options on the market now, but 5 years ago no other EV could compete. If I needed a new car and I could buy a Tesla from an identical company with a different CEO I would probably consider it…

I use Koreader on android with scrolling, also side loaded it on my Kobo e-reader (but I prefer paging on eink) you might be able to get it on kindle too

There are EVs that handle this by using a deceleration threshold, but that is not the same as just strapping an accelerometer to a car.

There are some truly great apple products, so I don’t think it’s fair to dismiss them all as terrible. But they are overpriced across the board. They also have a habit of anti-consumer practices like giving you a worse experience if you don’t exclusively use apple products.
In any modern IDE “dredging through old commits” means clicking a single button to see who last changed the line. From there it often makes sense to go look at the PR to see a higher level of what was changed. You cannot include all of that context in a single comment.
What?
