I use the 10 setting to clean limescale off my sink. I’m pretty sure it could strip latex paint if you tried.

I can’t fit one of my giant mitts in my tiny mouth let alone the two required to properly hold floss. I hate using the disposable floss picks because of the plastic waste. So for a long time I could just never floss properly unless I wanted to make a pile of plastic waste.
I did get a water pick now though and that works nice. Also to all the people who say water picks don’t clean as well as floss I say, you may be right but also that thing can blast limescale off of my sink so I’m pretty sure it does a good enough job on my teeth.
I’m gonna need that link bro. I’m the same. I have a tiny ass mouth and big ass hands. I also hate using the disposible ones because it just seems like so much waste.
but for the missing appendage.
If you cant grow your own, storebought is fine.

2·2 years agoIf your pipes are getting gummed up from it then you aren’t using it often enough or using enough water when you do use it. I do all my own plumbing and I’ve used mine for 6 years now without any issue. Hell, I think that sink is the only sink in my house that has never clogged.

2·2 years agoWhat’s insane about it? You eat food and your waste goes to the sewer. The garbage disposal does the same just without it passing through you. Also they’re only really used for scraps (egg shells, vegetable peels/trimmings, bits from rinsing dishes, etc) it isn’t like you’re dumping a whole plate of spaghetti down your sink. If you don’t have room for composting then the only alternative is throwing that stuff in the trash.

3·2 years agoThe upgrade is so worth it. I got a 1hp one when I needed to replace the old one. I could probably send a whole rotisserie chicken down that thing without issue (other than destroying my plumbing anyways). I don’t deliberately send bones down it but it has happened and they don’t even slow it down.
Everything is a fuse if your current is high enough.

15·2 years agoI once put an entire watermelon under the wipers on my friends car like a parking ticket when I knew they had a rough day at work. They like watermelon.
My goto is usually rock auto. Other places can be cheaper but nowhere else has everything in on place. If I need something quickly then I just go to my local parts shop.
There is a med called Welbutrin which can be prescribed for quitting smoking and it works really well. It’s also prescribed as an antidepressant so one of my smoker friends was on it for that reason and they almost completely quit smoking without even trying to. Of course, it is not without It’s sideeffects but among antidepressants it is one of the usually best tolerated ones. I’m on it for my depression now and the only issue I have is that it can make me really anxious, but I’m also on nearly the maximum dose where for smoking cessation you wouldn’t be taking anything close to that amount.

991·2 years agoIt’s common resturant lingo but fast food is completely different from resturant work. Also “86” literally has the same number of characters as “no”. They could have put down “no cherries” with the exact same ease. They decided to play a stupid game so they won a stupid prize, a stupid amount of cherries.
Oh, cool! When you said parasitic wasp my brain immediately pictured a tarantula hawk wasp.
Gonna be honest chief, I would sooner burn my house down than live with wasps.
But thinking about it, I’m willing to bet that house centipedes would clear them up too. Those voracious little buggers eat everything.

3032·2 years agoYeah, that’s on the customer. If you write that you want a bunch of fuckin cherries then you’re getting a bunch of fuckin cherries. Now go eat the pile of cherries you ordered.
Wait, caffeine actually keeps you all awake? It usually just makes me more tired. I only drink it to keep the withdrawls at bay.

1091·2 years agoGrain moth larva. Good luck. The damn things are a pain to get rid of once you have them. You’ll want to pitch any food that isn’t 100% air tight sealed (bags or boxes of cereal, rice, flour, sugar, noodles, etc.) and then clean out any cabinets really well to make sure you get rid of as many eggs as possible. After that make sure you don’t leave any food unsealed for the next few months because odds are they will keep popping back up ocasionally for a bit and if they can get into anything when they do then the infestation starts all over. As far as infestations go they aren’t the worst to deal with but they are anoying.
If we’re judging by handwriting then I’m nearly 30 and my handwriting isn’t much better. So I say the writer was clearly somewhere in their early 20s.

MN requires plates on both sides and when you renew your registration they give you tabs for both sides too. It doesn’t make much sense to me to require plates on both sides if you are only going to put the tabs on one side.
