Trust me: I used to have really low self confidence and I was miserable. I was always tiptoeing around those around me afraid to assert myself. Afraid to be me. The more I’ve opened up, the confidence I’ve built, the happier I’ve become.

It’s like being in an ice cream parlor: there’s so many different flavors and everyone has their favorites. If I’m having rocky road and you’re having mint chocolate chip am I going to question why and get mad about it? Hell no, I’m just happy we both found ice cream we like. And hell I may grab some mint chocolate chip the next time I swing by.

Everyone has their favorite system for tabletop gaming and some people like to define themselves by their hatred of other systems.

I’ve played a lot of systems. Savage Worlds, Gurps, ADnD, 3.5, Pathfinder, 4e, Pathfinder 2E, DnD 5E, the list goes on and on.

I do have preferences but I’m not going to hate on other systems.

Too many people can’t seem to enjoy something without hating on other people’s enjoyment of things.

If memory serves it costs them something like $10k per year 4 years ago for the Adobe suite.

Seriously though transitioning your team to a new software suite will suck at first but it’s worth it in the long run. Long term gains vs short term gains and all that.

My players dipped into one of the mega dungeons I’ve made

Shit was wild and they plan to go back to explore some more but they’re wanting to get stronger first

Little do they know there’s MORE mega dungeons to be found that they haven’t discovered yet

Edit: The one that they have been into had different layers with different kinds of environments and critters. They only made it a few layers down before they turned back due to the dangers.

I looked at the results of each roll and then entered it directly into a spreadsheet

The stat cards are generated straight from the data

Using some formulas in the spreadsheet I tell it to see which numbers come up in a range of cells, then count each instance of the numbers, then order the results in a table from most common to least common.

The averages are generated in a similar way. Basically I tell the spreadsheet to add the number of cells that have data in them in a specific range together, then have it divide by the number of faces on the die (the magic number here bugs me but I’ll let it slide for now), and then it puts the result into a cell.

2 of my DnD group when they found out about my little project wanted me to check their favorite D20’s as well.

Those are being tested this evening and I’m excited to see the results.

So sorry to hear that, for me before I actually got diagnosed I was basically bouncing from interest to interest like a pinball

But actually getting diagnosed and then addressing my ADHD allowed me to lock in some hobbies which has been amazing so far

The amount of dickbutts that will be cut into objects if I get a CNC will be legendary

It was honestly the second hardest thing I’ve ever done, the only thing that beats it in difficulty was beating my alcoholism

There were times where it felt all hope was lost but having even a small spark of hope was what made it possible to make it to the other side of those times

3D printing is great and pairs well with all my hobbies. I’ve currently got 3 printers: 2 filament printers and 1 resin printer.

It’s been quite the struggle resisting getting a small CNC at this point but the biggest hurdle is space and thankfully I haven’t fixed that hurdle yet.

So far 2 dice in and the new results are looking very interesting

It’s going to be probably a couple days for the new results but I’ll make a more detailed post for sure including the amount of times each number came up on each die
