Bad attitude from her parents, academia simply isnt for everyone and being able to do hard skilled work with your hands is just as admirable especially considering you’ve gone off and started your own company for it. Could always ask them how you perform certain bits of maintenance on a car or how you can properly build a brick wall ; ) something tells me they’d have no clue.
