Live action remakes, especially in the context of Disney Renaissance films, quite frankly go against the artistry that Howard Ashman had in mind when originally conceiving the idea of making musicals in the world of animation.

I’d rather it stay animated if its all the same, but I’ll accept live action, as long as they don’t make it as bad as the most recent seasons of the live action series (mostly looking at Kenobi, it put a bad taste in my mouth and I haven’t watched Andor or Mando 3 bc of it).

I’m finally getting used to Ahsoka in live action, but there is still some sort of reverse uncanny valley that I feel anytime I see her in Mando or Book of Boba Fett. I miss her animated incarnation and Ashley Eckstein’s vocal talents, as well as the general expressiveness of the animated genre.

Ha! Thats the first time I’ve heard of someone getting Paris syndrome in a game. It is definitely an overhyped location in game, but it probably doesn’t help that its an overhyped location IN an overhyped game.

New Vegas is definitely a roleplaying masterpiece with great writing, but the actual level design and gameplay loop are mid af. It’s great for when you wanna go around and kill some time/relax in a desert wasteland where you occasionally shoot mutant critters or Roman cosplayers while listening to some of the best Jazz and Country Western of the era, but outside of that it isn’t the most fun world to explore and the gunplay is mid.

Started Dead Money, hated it, and quit it and started old world blues. After this I was burnt out so I just stopped playing NV, and wanting to come back recently I tried to resume in the DLC.

I have no idea what the hell is going on so I have no idea if I’m going to continue where I left off or start the game over, only to miss the DLC content again when I inevitably get bored after the main game

Having to either constantly tap x to run/ride on horse or otherwise having to hold buttons down to pick things up or open drawers sucks and makes everything tedious

we play Dead by Daylight mostly. Sometimes we do fortnite, and have an unironically good time

most recent games that I beat were Batman Arkham knight and mario sunshine- I played the other Arkham games when they originally released but never had a PS4 when Arkham knight came out so I was only able to pick it up recently (yo ho).

Mario sunshine I had on my switch is part of the 3-D All-Stars collection and it was pretty good. I had gotten very frustrated with the slippery controls as I started playing but as I continue to playing it got more intuitive and the game killed me less and less.

i’ve been continuing the Mario kick I playing New Super Mario Bros Wii, and I downloaded Mario galaxy one to play on a dolphin emulator (looks, runs, and feels better than the switch version)
