For everyone’s sake it might be best to refuse to support the application because of the security risks with such an outdated program.
I’m about the same. Last switch was yahoo to Gmail and now I’m in the process of switching from Gmail to Proton Mail. The most difficult part was the mental switch - which email you start giving out when you sign up. Second was migrating services. I made it a point for a while each time I logged into something knew I would switch the primary email. Its been a long process!
I just picked up The Last Stand: Aftermath, and have been really enjoying playing that game.
A few of my absolute favorites
Battletech
Witcher 3
Parkitect
Never understood you southpaws lol
Man that game was so weird and quirky! It was fun, but I also remember having problems exiting the game for some reason lol. It’s available from GOG if you ever get the itch.
I am awaiting Sleeping Gods! I bought it with the recent Kickstarter and nearly went all in. But I’m really into thematic story telling and I thjnk the campaign nature will be good for me and my gf to come back to over time.
Yeah, being able to skip ahead spaces helps reduce some of the first player advantage, especially over the course of the game. We have also found our end game scores to typically be very close. We have frequently tied and had to resort to the 2nd and 3rd scoring (birds and number of cards). Except the last game. I steamrolled her 🤣
My girlfriend and I really like Trails and we take it with us to bars pretty frequently!
Its like a baby Parks game, and has a few mechanisms I thought would really do well in Parks (which apparently the designers felt the same because they released a new expansion which adds a few Trails like features)
Absolute yes to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice!
I’m not totally sure, but i think bookshop does profit sharing regardless if the indie bookstore you designate is actually the seller/shipper. I subscribe to Libro.fm (a drm free audible alternative), and they do the same thing. I can designate an indie store and Libro splits a percentage of the profits with them.
I am familiar! (as an owner of too many boardgames) I think this could work for a lot of things!
Thiftbooks is my goto for used but I’ve always used Abe as a backup. For new I use bookshop.org. So disappointing. I will check out alibris. I know the name, but have never used the service.
Not AbeBooks!?! 😲😭
Fallout 76 🤣
I will check it out! Known about it for a long time but I’ve never really taken a look.
If you were ever a fan of Rollercoaster Tycoon, check out Parkitect. It’s a phenomenal and fun themepark game!
I’m almost always a lurker but I have abandoned Reddit on principal and come here. I’ve replaced the infinity app on my homescreen with Beehaw and It gives me my reddit fix. I’m more likely to comment here too, since It doesn’t feel pointless due to the size of most subreddits.
Isometric Theme Park simulators. I’m in love with Parkitect and have fond memories playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 as a kid.
I’ve sunk over a dozen hours into it so far. It’s a really enjoyable game, however it is truly in early access stage and the developer has made no illusions about that. It’s playable, and largely bug free, but there’s not a lot of depth available since many of the features are still in progress. Up to the release of the game, it’s been developed by 1 person and he’s hiring some additional staff but that all takes time to see fruition.
The graphics are beautiful, and the game has a great atmosphere. I love watching the buildings being constructed. The mechanics in the game work well, but there’s a lot of buildings, resources, and advanced stages that need tweaking/implementing.
If you like what you see in the videos, and are OK with an actual early access game, knowing that features and improvements will be coming slowly, then id suggest getting it now. Otherwise, wait for the official release.
