Absolutely loved it. It’s the most like comic Spider-Man that MCU Spider-Man has felt yet. And it’s amazingly, deeply emotional.

I’d like to see more MCU movies like this. Not everything has to be about saving the world; sometimes it’s enough to save a life and find yourself along the way.

Can I wish for OpenAI and Oracle to somehow both die?

1, that is certainly a big problem with the merger, but far from the only one.

It’s so weird to be complaining about the accents. It’s a movie that takes place in ancient Greece, FFS; we have no idea what their accents would sound like if they were somehow capable of speaking modern English, since their entire culture pre-dates audio recording technology (and modern English, for that matter) by multiple millenia.

Seriously, people are just weirdly conditioned to the classical world speaking with a British accent for some reason, I guess.

That was before he cast a black woman to play “the face that launched a thousand ships” and a trans man to play… well, anyone, really.

It’s just all stupid culture war bullshit.

In my town, there’s a lot of beautiful parks to hang out at. I can take a workshop down at the library. The museums sometimes have free admission days. There’s lots of great things to do at low or no cost, you just have to look for them.

This is one place where traditional social media shines. Following local establishments on Facebook, or joining your city’s subreddit, can keep you in the loop about cheap or free events in your city.
