The way things work now is annoying.

Troll creates an account on instance A, posts racist shit or other uninspired bait on instance B.
Gets instantly permabanned from instance B.
3 days later, home instance A decides to ban them for a week.
Thus, a week later, user is automatically unbanned from home instance and all federated instances, including where they were permabanned.
Current behaviour is bananas.

This particular troll’s lack of creativity is unsurprising.

I kinda thought “whose” was meant to refer to a person and not an object, but really I don’t know.
Though I’d use something like “of which” or whatever else instead.

(Or just do what I do and rephrase it so you don’t need to bother with this syntax to begin with.)

I doubt the guy had several different car makes on hand to commit some sort of nationwide parking violation spree with the same plate but different cars in places where it’s impossible to even drive between the two places in the time between both timestamps.

Kbin is only one person and as far as I can tell, it’s mostly overrun by spam these days.
Ernest’s a cool guy and all but needs to at least delegate some/most moderation.

TBH, I’m just about to locally ban a few kbin magazines that are just completely overrun with spam.
Wish they’d delegate some of the moderation at least.

They targeted smaller unattended mastodon and misskey instances… to create accounts there and post their spam all over the place including larger instances and lemmy.
Several hundred posts were removed since then.

Being on lemmy, I never really used kbin much.
All I know is there’s a ton of spam coming from there, and their moderation seems spread thin.

Sometimes when my partner is stressed, just being close and me breathing calmly is enough to instill some calm into their breathing and eventually calm them.
I’ve had that happen the other way around and it’s actually nice and soothing.
Until you unsync and need to reboot the breathing software for a sec.

The world would be a better place if that’s what “watching fox all day” meant.

I mean diarrhea still sucks, but at least you don’t also end up with irritation from wiping so much.
