I’m not saying biometrics should replace all usernames. I’m saying that they should be used as usernames/identification at best.

What if you want to have more than one account with a provider, but you have only one face?

Are you serious or are you being pedantic and trolling? That doesn’t change my point, your face shouldn’t be the password to both accounts. It’s pretty easy to add another step for multiple accounts.

Biometrics should be usernames, not passwords. Fingerprints, irises, faces, vocal patterns, all of it, no matter how good it is, only identifies the person trying to enter/use something and is somewhat easy to steal without their knowledge.

If you want true security you still need to ask for a passcode that only the now-identified user will know.

And yes, it is still possible to intercept the passcode at the moment that the user interacts with the locking mechanism, but that is completely different from grabbing it when they’re randomly walking down the street, etc.

(Edit to add: I didn’t think this needed to be explained, but I’m not saying biometrics should replace usernames, I’m saying they shouldn’t have replaced passwords. And yes, you can still use biometrics in the authentication process to identify that it’s you, i.e. your username, but you still need a password.)

There are technical reasons (pointed out in many comments) for why they might not have full sliders to make any body type you want.

As you can see from OP’s response to you, my primary issue is that OP is still calling the option the “female” or “feminine” one. The developers specifically removed those labels to be inclusive and OP is adding them back. The complaint about the order was the secondary issue.

As a woman, I look at “Body Type A or Body Type B” and think “Well, I’m a woman, not a Body Type B, and isn’t it kinda misogynistic that the secondary option is the female one? Like A+ for Men, B- for Women?”

This really pissed me off, I have to say. Why are you calling the “secondary” option “the female one”? To me that seems a bit presumptuous.

If I have body type B with he/him pronouns, are you saying something about my body? Is it too “feminine” for you?

Honestly, you seem to be looking for something to complain about. The developers have taken an extra step to try to be accommodating and inclusive and your complaining about the order the choices are listed in… Smh

Alcohol will affect acrylic/plexiglass, but its not necessarily a fast reaction. I don’t know what specific plastic glasses lenses are made of. Also, the UV coating might protect them from the alcohol.

“Filling” is the word you’re looking for, not “meat”.

Do you mean “faux” meat? “Pho” is Vietnamese soup. “Faux” comes from French and means “fake” or “imitation”, and is pronounced like “foe”.
