Seconding the thank you. I’d forgotten about many of those as well, and some I don’t recall having ever known.

I enjoy them, very much.

It’s really hard to list any news sources that I don’t read with a few kilos of salt. DN! seems one of the more trustworthy, and Amy Goodman makes it work on a very slim budget; and for that reason, she’s simply not able to cover everything, and maybe that’s good, because it gives us time to really think about what they publish. I can tell you the only reason I miss TV is for local coverage, and even then, it’s also best taken with a few kilos of salt.

If the people are happier, that’s a starting point. I’d like to see more on-the-ground, fair coverage of your nation. It’s hard to have any opinion, let alone an informed opinion, without media attention.

Thanks for the reply.The corruption seems to be an issue in most governments. Do most Iraqis you know think life is better or worse since Hussein is no longer in power?

Since we really only hear what little our media publishes about military operations, and the coming and going of the military, can you please tell us a little about it?

Maybe tech school should require electives like philosophy, logic, ethics, sociology and psychology classes? This used to be required here, but isn’t, anymore.

Legislators have been ignoring the vote, too.

A hunger for an equitable system that preserves our habitat and a thirst for knowledge, with a side of how can we work together to implement such things.

You can’t even get services without an address.

Where are these magical places that provide enough beds? I’m not doubting you, I just haven’t ever heard of any.

Was just thinking, MMT for a small portion of the populace, austerity economics for everyone else. But we can do better, for our own and global neighbors.
