Are we acting like Linux couldn’t have the same thing happen to it? There are plenty of things that can break boot.

The ‘Steam Controller’ I think it was called? That thing was so awful I only used it like twice.
IIRC it also stores your account password server side and stores your emails there too, it’s literally just webmail.
IMO backups on the same provider aren’t really backups. Good that they had some at a different one.
Debian doesn’t come with sudo
and it’s always annoying running into stuff that has it hardcoded (or just added by default to a command)
I really like Sourcetree, been using that for a long time.
What resolution are you going to be gaming at?
If you’re only at 1440p60 or something then you can cut the GPU down for sure.
Yeah basically open worlds that exist purely to have tons of repetitive tasks.
An SSD upgrade to 2TB or something would cost less than the game does these days. Or if they’re on an extreme budget they can probably find a basic 500GB or 1TB SSD for $10-15 used somewhere.
I feel like windows would seriously hamper the experience, it’s terrible on small screens and when you don’t have a normal mouse and keyboard to use. It also has a ton of overhead that’s going to eat into the more limited CPU and GPU.
I’m also pretty sure you can just dual boot windows on the steam deck if you want to have windows available.
I would say that’s not pirating from an ethical perspective. If it’s actually legal with current laws may be another story.
My viewpoint is I’ve paid for the right to play the game, where I get it from doesn’t matter.
IMO GUIs are always faster when it’s something you’ve never used before, or use very infrequently.
CLI is better if you’re used to the task you’re doing, or automating things. But for infrequent tasks looking up the commands (or looking at old notes to find it) is very slow and rather annoying.
I like the garmin venu 2 that I bought used, it’s been very reliable. I pretty much forget about it since it just works with minimal fuss. Battery lasts 2 weeks too which is nice.
I remember researching fitbit and it just seemed like more hassle, and some features were locked behind subscriptions and stuff like that.
That does seem like a better deal at this point.
I would get one new enough to have QC and PD support, since most devices use one of those protocols for charging. Those really old ones that only supply 2.4A @ 5V usually can’t keep up with a modern phone.
Why not get a better charger? They’re cheap and you won’t have a battery sitting in a hot car which wears them out really quickly.
It should be the actual data the sensor recorded, since raw is typically lossless.
I’ve tried Obsidian before, but it’s just too complex compared to keep for me
Same, I use android phones as well, I also use keep notes and calendar. But I’ve been using those for a long time, I just don’t want to bother switching into anything new of theirs.
I use https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/431970-fb-clean-my-feeds for facebook.
uBlock Origin with various annoyances filters enabled takes care of a ton of stuff as well.
