2 months agoDeath of the Endless is in both, played by same actress. Despair also shows up in Dead Boy, but I can’t remember if she showed up in season 1 Sandman. But generally I think they were only meant to be tangentially linked, so you didn’t have to watch one to enjoy the other.
I remember liking half of it. Oddly enough, I can’t remember whether I liked the first half where he’s a drunken bum, or the second half, where he’s more together, but I specifically remember thinking half of it was decent at least.
So yeah, I agree that it’s not very memorable.
