If the others suggested aren’t quite right for you, you might try looking for an interval timer app. These are generally used for fitness, but it seems to me that type of setup might do exactly what you want if you just set up a “workout” that has a single 30 min interval and repeats.

Ambrosia probably provided me the most hours of gaming entertainment over the 90s. They published Mac software and, if I remember correctly, most of their games were shareware and the non-paid versions were pretty well featured.
I wonder how many hundreds of hours I played Escape Velocity and Escape Velocity Override. Those were some absolutely amazing games and they supported plugins (mods) and had a thriving mod community.

My next step (before driver stuff) would be to figure out where in the chain you are having issues.
(1) check if the camera is working on its own (assuming it can record to internal memory or something). No? Time to troubleshoot the camera.
(2) connect from the camera’s mini hdmi to a tv/monitor and see if you’re getting a picture. No? Time to troubleshoot the hdmi out or hdmi cable.
I recommend starting with season 4. Then if you end up liking it, loop back to seasons 1-3. This is old TV where each episode is made to stand on its own.
Alarmed (iOS only, unfortunately). It allows you to set nagging reminders with notifications and has great features for snoozing a reminder or setting up routine reminders.
It’s great for ADHD. I basically use it for my schedule I’ll have it remind me the morning of something (or the day before depending on the event), when the reminder comes up, I’ll snooze it to to just before I have to leave.
I had been using apples “reminders”, which just seem to disappear into the ether if you happen to miss the notification.
Lol. One recommendation: when arguing about copyright, don’t substitute physical goods for material that can be easily duplicated when making an argument. Substitute a patent? Sure. Substitute a different type of copyrighted (or copyright adjacent) material? Sure. But it’s really hard to get past the fundamental difference between stealing a physical good — in which the person you’re stealing from no longer has the item — and copying a good, in which now both people have the item.
To compare stealing a car with stealing digital goods, it would go more like: how would you feel if someone snuck over and built an exact duplicate of your car and drove it away?

Three thoughts:
I wonder if you would still have this take if you played a newer, high quality AAA game on a high end setup. I don’t mean to imply that your mind will definitely be blown — really don’t know — but it would be interesting to see what doing so would do to your opinion.
Gaming is about entertainment. There is no denying that better/bigger/smoother/more immersive tends to add to the entertainment. So devs push those boundaries both for marketing reasons and because they want to push the limits. I have a hard time seeing a world in which gaming development as a whole says “hey, we could keep pushing the limits, but it would be more environmentally friendly and cheaper for our customers if we all just stopped advancing game performance.”
There are SO MANY smaller studios and indie devs making amazing games that can run smoothly on 5/10/15 year old hardware. And there is a huge number of older games that are still a blast to play.
No need to be hostile, nor put words in my mouth. I gave my view and reasoning without doing so. You should try to do the same. This isn’t Reddit, and I would prefer it to stay that way.
It’s one thing for you to find content that you think is worth posting on lemmy and then duplicating the post here - even using a bot. This requires you to self evaluate whether the content is worthwhile before posting it. It’s another to simply repost all content from a sub without any human evaluation.
The biggest issue I see with bot posts is that they tend to spam the heck out of lemmy. At first I tried blocking bots that I found spammy, but ultimately I disabled seeing bot accounts because I got tired of constantly blocking them individually.
Keep in mind that yes, there is less content here, but that also means that if you make a bot that reposts all (or a lot) of content from active Reddit subs, you are going to inundate peoples feeds. It won’t be a problem for me, because I’ll never see it. But new and less tech savvy users might be annoyed/frustrated by the situation.

Edit: that said, I would add NVMe SSD as the way to go… although I think that is pretty much all you find these days. Are non-nvme m.2 drives a thing?
I haven’t used other handhelds, but what you say is what I’ve seen from other discussions and reviews. Yes, there are more powerful systems with better screens, but the SD’s OS is miles ahead (but not without a lot of quirks as well). The touchpads are incredible - I couldn’t imagine trying to use a handheld PC without those touchpads. Also, the custom control configuration abilities built in to steam OS are incredibly versatile and detailed.
Voyager has good features for hiding posts as well as marking posts read and hiding read posts.
