  • Hey thanks for the clarification :) ! I’m not a photographer nor educated enough in specific science domain.

I only pointed out what technique photographers use to make them appear so bright and colorful on pictures.

They really are as colorful as they appear in photos but human night vision is primarily black and white.

Does that even make sense? I mean, we are what we are, and we see what we see. There is noway that we could certainly know how they actually look like.

If a reptile looks at an Aurora Borealis, It would totally see it differently, and it’s perspective would differ from ours.

With a camera you can change alot of attributes to make it appear b/w, sepia, more light, rgb, cmjn, infrared, flash… But that doesn’t make it how they actually appear, I mean who is in charge to give the correct mixture of how much light, b/w, cmjn, rgb, infrared… to see the “real” manifestation ?

Personally, I think this is more a philosophical/metaphysic ¿? question, but I’m no expert in any of those subjects. I’m just relying on my personal experience and my feelings ^^.

    Feel free to argument !

  • Just chiming in, sorry for my bad english.

Your comments are filling me with sadness and despair. You must be the kind of person who years ago warned about all this and most people just laught or called you some creepy tin-foilhat conspiracist. :/

The internet is changing very fast and not for the good. It’s somehow comparable what’s going on everywhere in the world… Greedy oppressors who only care about themselves, while millions people are suffering…

It feels somehow we have already lost…

  • Sometimes, the less you say, the better. You have to manipulate them and do not worry about if it’s bad/wrong. In the corporate world, most are just greedy assholes who don’t care about who you are.

Don’t ever lie on your resume, just make it glittery on how THEY want to see it, not how you feel about it.

It’s a sad world we are living in right now, good luck don’t ever give up !

  • Just had a similar experience with Bitwarden. Works flawlessly on every device, but the linux vesion doesn’t integrate with the browser (the app not the browser extension). I also had to do some special tinkering to make it accept self-hosted vaultwarden with self-signed certificate, because electron apps on linux don’t use the internal’s system trusted cert store ? Nah, you have to install certutil, and add it to a “sql database”… ⋮/

And i’m just starting as a linux power user, and it already begins to show why linux isn’t “there” right now… But I don’t see it as something bad, quite the opposite, linux is supposed to be flexible, open source, a playing ground for nerds… But people’s desire to overcome GAFAMS monopoly slowly turns linux into something I hope won’t hurt the community or make them part of GAFAM acronym…
