Not sure what you mean. They can already pull any public data on lemmy, as can anyone else.

Dude. Have you been to taco bell? You can get a well over 2000 calorie meal for like $15
Welcome to lemmy. I hate big corporations but some of the people on this site will blame amazon when they stub their toe.
I assume because some fucking ghoul noticed people liked taking them for their cars so now we just don’t get napkins!
They were probably just out and too busy to restock or something. It happens. Never been to a fast food place where they don’t provide napkins and I steal napkins from the taco bell I live near regularly. What a weird overreaction.
I’ve lucked out a couple times on flights to Europe from the US where I got the whole middle row of five seats to myself. Flights have been completely packed in recent years, though.
The Scots guy is a better example, imo. Someone who was trying to contribute in a positive manner but filled the wiki with complete gibberish, as opposed to a troll, of which there many.
Yeah, it’s important to remember that wikipedia, itself, isn’t a source, it’s a summary of different sources. It’s a great resource to find sources and get an overview of a topic, though.
I used some dating apps on and off for about 4 years and got probably a couple dozen or so genuine not bot matches. Most of which didn’t last for more than a message or two. Even ran my profile by some of my women friends who I trust and they said it looked good. While obviously it works for some people, the experience for most people isn’t that great. These apps make their money by keeping people on the platform so getting matches goes against their main profit motive. The traditional methods work a lot better.
Just buy it and you’ll get no ads. Not everything is free. There are plenty of other free options, anyways.
There are plenty alternatives which is great. I think it’s just an absurd take to bash a solo dev who is working on an app as their full time job for trying to make money.
This is such an unbelievably naive take. People’s time is worth something. Relying just on donations from a small percentage of users here and there is not going to cut it for someone who is developing the software full time.
Absolutely agree. He’s one of the channels I’ve watched for the longest. Been subscribed since probably 2011 or so. His videos are just so wholesome and it always makes my day when he uploads. Absolutely recommend if people are into minecraft survival content.
I mean yeah. There are some decent deals sometimes though. The dollar store near me sells name brand dishsoaps and cleaning solutions in normal sized bottles. You just need to be smart about what you get.
I mean yeah, obviously they’re profitable. It’s the convenience though. Sometimes they have good deals if you don’t want to buy a giant pack of something.
There are so many automated bots posting links every couple of minutes. I feel like I sometimes have to wade through tons of garbage to get to interesting posts. I’ve been blocking tons of bots and communities but it still feels like it takes effort to find content which isn’t what I want. I want somewhere that I can find interesting content when I’m taking a shit. Lemmy isn’t quite there yet.
Genuinely can’t see a future where people collectively ditch adobe. They make industry standard products that companies, educational institutions, professionals, etc… buy.

I don’t know anything about licensing for use on wikipedia but maybe you’d want to reach out to the site’s devs?
Yeah I do miss the activity on my frontpage on reddit. I find myself browsing all most of the time here when I don’t remember the last time I looked at /r/all on reddit. Sync and soon Boost coming out is going to be great in potentially bringing more people over.
I’ve heard good things about sh.itjust.works too
If they’re really just after data at all costs, they could easily spin up an instance that has no apparent link to threads and federate secretly. I agree with other arguments about not federating with them but idk, all these data privacy arguments against federating with threads are so dumb. If they want it, they’ll get it because getting it is so absurdly easy.
