waterfox is just a fork of firefox with seemingly no real benefits. I’d rather stay on the original build.

It’s the only non-chrome browser. And the only browser I can customize and that does what I want. I’ve been waiting for arc to release so I can try it out, but it seems like the development on it is taking literally forever.

I have pretty strict criteria for a browser, and really only firefox meets them. Chrome is way too locked down for me. And firefox has slowly been getting worse unfortunately.

The type celebrating nudity in baldurs gate are usually prudes who argue for censorship, oppose nudity and sexual content, etc when it comes to Japanese games. Sane people are pointing out this obvious hypocrisy.

I like this idea provided it’s 100% opt-IN and not opt-out. Nintendo’s 3ds streetpass did something like this and it’s very cool being able to see what other people are in your area with a 3ds. A social media focused on this would be pretty neat IMO.

Futurama is literally a comedy about everyday life (in the future), and black mirror is literally a commentary on modern day life. Perhaps watch stuff that isn’t focused around parodying or doing comedy on real life stuff?

That said, a lot of metahumor and political commentary ends up in western media these days because the people making and controlling the stuff have this fetishization of deconstruction and attacking everyday things. Hence why it’s so rampant, even in places it doesn’t belong.

You should try playing Cattails which is basically exactly that. You play as a stray cat living a regular cat life. You can hunt, socialize with other cats (some are nice, some not), etc. No humans, just cats. The start of the game you get abandoned by humans I think?

The code realize games are pretty good. Also gonna shout out Pretty Princess Party and it’s sequel Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island. They’re both on the girlier side of things but don’t get as much attention as they should.

have you not heard? style savvy was murdered by nintendo. Syn Sophia, the developers of style savvy, wanted to make a 5th game and got shut down hard by nintendo. They then did a complete ip rebrand and struggled to find a publisher, at which point marvelous stepped in. It’s called Fashion Dreamer and is planned to be a continued fashion series by syn sophia. It’s basically style savvy, in all but official ip/branding. Same dev, same goal (fashion game), etc.

Given Nintendo’s hard rejection, Style Savvy is dead for the foreseeable future. And if Fashion Dreamer does well (which it should if all style savvy fans buy it which they should if they like style savvy), Nintendo might realize it’s good to have style savvy and revive; but if that happens I sincerely doubt syn sophia will return to develop them.

tl;dr: style savvy is dead, and nintendo murdered it. a revival might happen if Fashion Dreamer (marvelous/syn sophia game) does well, but if it does revive, it almost certainly won’t be syn sophia developing it again, so not really the same.

Buy Fashion Dreamer if you like Style Savvy

That’s actually not the case. Action adventure games are neither adventure games nor action games. Adventure games refer to text adventures. “action adventure” then is an adventure game, but that isn’t turn/text based (hence “action”). Similarly, an “action game” is something like pong.

It’s just an unfortunate name due to the weird history of game genres.
