In our group everyone brings snacks. Then we have way too many snacks. We store snacks and they last for another session or two. Then one session we are out and noone brought snacks so we run without snacks. The next time everyone brings snacks and we have too many again. Rinse and repeat.
We call it the ebb and flow of the RPG snackage.
We use German as common and Dwarves are Bavarian.
I thought it stood for fat rat. Woops.
Everything is a d4 if you try hard enough.
Einige sind leider bei Geld stecken geblieben.
I’m pretty sure you can edit titles on here.
It does but they felt the need to include an example. Why? Because the item is too complicated.
Imo if your item requires an example in its rules text it is too complicated.
Today we played with 3 out of 5 players and it was a fun session. And we played.
The chances of all 6 people making it are simply too low to cancel because of that.
I knew all of them, I have gotten too nerdy.
Wait Minecraft is not real life?
Rakshasa has entered the chat.
I prefer offline whenever possible and we love to put minis and terrain on the table.
RPGs for me are a great way to not look any devices or screens for a few hours. Paper character sheet, physical dice, books and a pencil.
I’ve been enjoying this game a lot. Thanks for posting the video.
I’ve always had success at tabletop roleplay forums, local games stores or Facebook groups etc.
As a DM I’ve been consistently been finding engaged and reliable players in the few places I lived during the last 15 years.
It’s not hard but I give myself permession to not allow players into the group that I don’t think fit. That way you will normally end up with a decent bunch of people. And make some friends too on top of a dnd group.
Also not a native speaker here. I was just curious as I always picture smaller kids when I hear toddler. Thanks for the Wiki link!
That’s the plan but the games we played are as much as she can handle and they are labeled 4 or 5 years and up. But time is on my side here. Overall I’m super happy that she enjoys boardgames and cardgames and in a few years we’ll start to play games from my collection I’m sure. It’s just. Have you ever played 2 hours of 1v1 UNO? It’s something else.
Some games have so much setup required that it cuts too deep into the game time.
Imo Gloomhaven is only worth playing if you can leave everything on the table in the basement until the next session.
