Apparently Playnite has a ITAD plugin you can use, but it’s limited to your wishlist, and doesn’t have an all-in-one browser, and it doesn’t look like it’s very well maintained.

Monopolies tend to be bad. The more my game library is on steam, the more fucked I am if my country decides to ban Steam for some reason or another, or the US decides to fuck everyone else over.

I wish GOG Galaxy and Playnite were good launchers. I don’t like Epic and I don’t like the stranglehold Steam has on the market. Basically I want a launcher where I can see all of my games, but I also want to be able to open as many stores as I want, and then be able to compare prices and then buy from each of those stores within the same launcher.

I remember hearing that that Sith guy from Acolyte (the one that killed all those Jedi singlehanded) was gonna be the original Ren. I guess he would have been a failed apprentice to Darth Plaguis or something. We’ll never know for sure though, because Acolyte sucked and was stupidly expensive for how bad it was.

I’m ace and I find both Tom Ellis and Jenna Coleman attractive, but that doesn’t mean I want to sleep with them, or anyone really.

I think that’s a tad excessive. Sure, Windows sucks, but it’s not my machine so I don’t give a shit. Now, if they expected me to bring my own machine and also insist that it’s Windows, I’ll get pissed off and refuse the offer. Their machine though? They can demand whatever they want, so long as I can actually do my job.

9/10 times it’s not Windows I’m fighting against when I’m unable to do my job, it’s the IT department not giving me admin rights over the right folders so I can’t even install Docker without spending 3 days with them to get the right permissions.

Back when all screens were more-or-less the same size and nothing ever had to scale. Your UI was the size it was, and if your screen was too big, too bad! You can either stretch it and deal with the pixelly mess, or squint your eyes to see the teeeny tiny program.

Presumably even if Linux must provide a means of reporting an age, you can always modify that distro to always report the oldest age?

It’s a very specific subset of neurodivergents, tbh. I don’t see much discussion around typically geeky topics. On Reddit, if I had a fleeting thought or question about a fictional world, I had /r/asksciencefiction. On the fediverse? No such board. The answer to that is “Oh just create it”, but I don’t have the time or the attention span to moderate such a place.

Either way, you can use DI to do composition in the strictest UML way, provided every single dependency is transient and creates a new instance every single time. Even then though, when most devs talk about composition, they aren’t referring to the strict UML definition.
