Hey, I thought your post lent itself well to using img2img stable diffusion to create a more detailed version of your 7yo’s drawing and story.

By far, the best result came when I cranked the de-noising level up, but it’s further removed from the original drawing. I used the story as the prompt to give the model (Dreamshaper XL, a brand new SDXL checkpoint) more information.

Relay. And I still miss it. Better than any of the other apps I’ve tried for reddit or lemmy. Very smart design and UX that made it far more usable and enjoyable.

Light roasted coffee has more caffeine than dark roasted coffee.

Technically, per bean, more of the caffeine is cooked out of the dark roast. However, other things are also roasted out of a dark roast to the point that the individual beans are also lighter and smaller. When brewing coffee, usually you either weigh your dose of beans out, or you use a scoop for some consistency. Either method will result in more dark roast beans ultimately making it into the brew than would with a (larger, heavier) light roast.

Typically, this more than cancels out the reduced caffeine content per bean, so a brew of dark roast coffee still typically has more caffeine in it.

The default can also be set from your profile settings page.

I think most of the issues we’re all running into are just growing pains. The sorting algorithms will be improved, performance and other bugs will be addressed. Most of us have been here for a day or so. 😅 I’m going to stick with it for a while longer and see what happens. If another service springs up that seems better, I’ll check that out too.

Just can’t really support Reddit right now…

I think it was well executed for what it was, but that ultimately it was a real world location in a post-apocalyptic/collapsed state. Not particularly novel, and being grounded in reality, it’s all very same-y for lack of a better term.

Still loved the game for the time myself and my buddies got into it, but at some point, it just didn’t hold our interest. The game mechanics were very well designed, though, albeit somewhat overwhelming at times.

It looks like there’s a little jank to work out still (physics and animation rate especially). I think the team behind The Division is very talented, but their setting and weapons have been relatively boring. Having them build a Star Wars game makes a lot of sense to me since those aspects are already well established and adored and they can just make a fun game with strong mechanics.
