Honestly I’m sure this is the best solution. I get that a d4 is the obvious choice for something that should have a 1/4 chance of happening but a d8 with 4 numbers twice would be the most appropriate.

This is the way, but you’re right about hot water. I did damage a pair by accidentally using water that was too hot.

This method minimizes scratching and it does a great job of removing grease (I sweat a lot) that a microfiber cloth would just spread around.

Thank you. This is definitely a bit high level for me (I never figured out how a reverse proxy works or even how to set one up) but I think it gives me the start to a rabbit hole I can dive into.

Is there a good guide out there on how this would work? I tried to host my Plex server at a friend’s house while I am traveling but his ISP uses cgnat and the router wouldn’t let me do any sort of port forwarding so I gave up and now my family is bugging me about when Plex will be running again.

I’d also like to move beyond just forwarding ports to the internet because I know it’s a security vulnerability. I got everything to work correctly and I wasn’t worried about someone gaining access to my Plex server, but I’d like to do things the right way.

I’ve been enjoying BG3 quite a bit but I actually feel like DOS2 is more accessible as someone who has never played D&D. All the modifiers and weapon proficiencies and armor class things are really confusing to me as a noob. This complexity adds a ton of depth to the game but I feel like combat in DOS2 was more straightforward and I think I like it more.

Still haven’t gotten out of act 1 in BG3 yet so my opinion may change as I get more familiar with it.

I hate loud motorcycles too but electric motorcycles aren’t ready for mass adoption yet. Nothing electric on the market today has great range and if you’re out in the sticks where it’s fun to ride there usually aren’t many EV chargers. I will 100% jump on an electric motorcycle as soon as the range and charger availability meets my needs but we’re just not there yet. I agree with you 100% on the noise though. A certain subset of riders need to stroke their egos by making loud noise and it makes all riders look bad.

I’m a motorcyclist and that argument is fucking stupid (not you specifically). If you’re drowning out nearby conversation just so you feel safe when you ride a motorcycle maybe you shouldn’t be riding.

Again this isn’t a personal attack on you, I just hate that i get lumped in with the loud pipe mouth breathers when I’ve ridden 200,000 miles on a quiet motorcycle without getting turned into road pizza.
