I don’t think it’s dumb but very overrated and not anywhere near as deep as people make it out to be. It’s little surprise that “the red pill” had been embraced by so many arrogant people that are pretty ignorant.
I love The Purge, especially election day. They really hit that sweet spot between exploitative horror and substantive political commentary.
Which is what the best B movies do.
That and building convincing personas for propaganda and PR. An account agreeing with pro corporate policies is more convincing if it has a long post history.

Nah, that’s the whole point of federation. To keep it from becoming Reddit. The problem with Reddit isn’t that it’s big, it’s that it’s highly censored on a wide variety of topics that aren’t anywhere near offensive but simply counter to Western hegemony.
This is what I was thinking. And you can’t really graph out things over time on a graph which is really critical for a lot of workflows.
I get that Splunk and Elastic or unwieldy beasts that take way too much maintenance for what they provide for many orgs but to think grep is replacement is kinda crazy.

He was considered funny in the 90’s because Boomers and Gen Xers dominated the TV market. He put a new spin on a very old and tired form of comedy. That of the squeaky clean, mundane and apolitical observational act. Boomers and Gen Xers were too cynical to admit they enjoyed the exact same comedy about “airline food” and other cliché idiosyncrasies as their parents and memed that the show was about “nothing”.
They’re not class conscious.
