Central Virginia reason, so Hurricane Isabel, I think we lost power for like a week had a bunch of trees down. Hurricane Gaston, wasn’t as severe I don’t remember a lot of wind or power going out but it just dumped a ton of rain on the region b/c like it just move so slowly over the region. And then I just remember a hand full of snow storms that closed school for awhile, and I think like a really bad ice storm where we lost power for like a week or two. But Isabel by far the worst.

Pixar seeing a rise in milf web searches: Ok boys it’s time to release another movie with a mom who has a dump truck ass.
Physical, I just never could make the jump to digital or e reader. If you like reading on your phone or e reader more power to you. My mom loves her e reader b/c she loves to read but time has not been kind to her eyes, being able to make the print any size has been a big help to her.
Yeah looks like I’ll have to.
Did they really do it again, fucking hell. I came here for a better experience then Reddit and I feel like it’s starting to be a worse experience then Reddit. Transparency from admin my ass.
I exercise regularly so I’m changing socks like twice a day.
Yes.
What’s This Rock and What’s This Fossil. I was actually getting really good at my mineral identifications, I would try guessing the mineral before opening the three to see if I got it right or not. The fossil one because sometimes you got to see some really cool stuff, other time hilariously, bad fossils made with mosasaur teeth. And the occasional flint arrow head or hand axe but we’re not in the scope of the subreddit but still cool anyway.
Not well.
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature, paypal.
Honestly, my guess the people working the call center get paid on retention numbers whereas the people that work in the warehouse just get paid a salary/wage. The call center probably had an incentive for you not to cancel, do the charge back, or the refund that sort of thing. That’s my guess I’m only like hypothesizing here.
Came to say the exact same thing. Both benefit form it because here we are talking about it, so there’s no down side for either of them. And you’re right he’ll make a video, get 2 million views and bank.
Ok, don’t use it, easy.
I’d say less time, probably b/c Lemmy doesn’t have a predatory algorithm to keep me on it for hours on end.
I think you sum up my thoughts pretty well. I stopped being facebook a long time ago when I realized I was just sitting there refreshing my feed and seeing the same things over hoping for new content. Then I moved to reddit, and honestly now that I look back on it, reddit has changed so much from when I first joined to when I left. New and original post and discussion is all but gone from there. It’s all reposts, bot, and people trying to sell something. I hate to say it I kinda see some of the same shit already starting here too. Like I really wanted to come here and just interact with people and see some new things. And I don’t know if it’s people bots or just the cycle of the internet, but I’m already seeing the same old posts I saw on Reddit already popping up here. So all I can say is don’t reddit my lemmy / fediverse. And facebook can just go ahead and fuck off. And people reposting shit from reddit, stop that now, there’s no karma here.
Vampire Survivors I just love that game, after that Tetris.
Not exactly fast food but kinda junk food, the sugar free lime Red Bull it was so good it was an after work treat I would get myself. Then it just slowly started disappearing from shelves and then they were gone, I would love it if they brought it back. As for fast food double decker tacos at Taco Bell, they had a good long run so I can’t be too disappointed, but miss just being able to go in and buy them when I want.
