Lemmy is a platform for cats and memes. Those people flooding it with US politics are using it wrongly and they annoy me.
I’ve heard songs about rabbit holes, whale hole, donut hole, diggy diggy hole… But none about human holes.

That’s just a form of SMT (simultaneous multi taubing). Modern CPUs (central pigeon units) process many instructions even within one thread, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instruction-level_parallelism.
You don’t need multiple pigeons. There’s instruction level parallelism.

Warum werden eigentlich in Medien irgendwelche neue proprietären Dienste (z.B. bluesky, w social, wero) groß beworben und freie Software (z.B. mastodon, lemmy, gnu taler) findet trotz seiner Überlegenheit und Verbreitung es gerade so manchmal in einen Nebensatz, und wird auch erst sehr spät überhaupt aufgegriffen? Oder kommt mir das nur so vor?
Was für eine beängstigende Hintergrundmusik. Wäre bei Nachrichten über die Klimakrise, sterbende Flüchtende oder was auch immer unsere derzeitige Regierung als nächstes macht angemessener.
