Feeling called out?
Oh my. Well since I only get on here periodically, I think YOU should get your Very Own Personal Tag!
Then, if you’re still around after I unblock you, I’ll get to see your fancy lil tag if you shownup, and remember how sensitive you got over a comic. That you coulda’ just ignored ffs.
Yeah, uh no, not unfamiliar. See the above comic. You are in it and it’s got your panties all in a twist apparently.
People who need some professional assistance will do that shit you’re talking about.
I was emoting how sick you make me feel, when one of you randomly creeps up. And especially when you think anyone cares about your weird ideals, for any gender.
“I, as a man, have never encountered this scenario myself. Therefore, it is completely made up and reason to be further misogynistic.” Is all I saw there brother.
Just, eww!! Fucking eeewww!! 🤮
Crazy how many folks can’t scroll past something they aren’t interested in. And not thoughtful critiques. Just whining really. Their delicate eyes witnessed it, thus they were compelled to come make a comment.
I don’t think I’d ever find it appropriate to whine in the comments of a user’s post, over a post breaking no rules. I have, and would… just scroll by.
I don’t see “No Pizza Cake” in the rules… why would someone think it would just never show up?
I think you may have a Nebelung instead of standard issue! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nebelung
Hello and welcome! I didn’t see a couple things mentioned that I thought were very helpful to me with the instance choosing, so I just wanted to pass it along…
If you look at your account kinda like an email, all the emails can communicate with each other, just like the instances can communicate. Though, an instance can also block another so thay it can not be seen/interacted with. Like, gmail deciding they will no longer accept yahoomail, for example.
.ml has been blocked by a variety of others, so you may be missing out on some interests elsewhere, that you would enjoy.
I use an app and have a few different accounts, the app lets me just swap my sign in profiles back and forth as I like. Sometimes a server goes down or an update goes bad. Having another account let’s you check in on the action, on those who are still up and running while the other gets worked on. You can even use the same name, your @ will just change.
Initial sign up is roughest step really… but not much harder than grabbing a new email!
OK, that was more than a couple, hopefully something was helpful though and helps your experience here!
Spot@startrek.websiteto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's one of your favorite genres of music and what's your favorite thing about it?English1·7 months agoI came back here to see if there were new additions, since I came across the post early on. I also really enjoy funk, with a favorite being Primus, well, anything Les Claypool really (His stuff with Sean Lennon, much more …trippy rock?, with Claypool Lennon Delirium, still excellent). They are a really heavy lil corner of the funk/rock spectrum though.
I am def going to check out some bubblegum funk now, it sounds like it should be an opposite spectrum sound experience!
So, thank you for allowing me to suckle on your presence a bit?

He’s so different than his “brothers and sisters” -no realtions, but we got 5 currently. Started looking up his description to see if others had anything similar, like the orange one brain cell boys or something. Found out i had a Nebelung.
This is really awesome! I saw your post the other day about it and thought it was a great idea. You work quick! I already found a new community I would not have thought to look for otherwise.
It is hard for me to see and manipulate on mobile, but that’s totally on me. So I’ll be back in a bit. I’m sure someone smarter than me may have more helpful input than that if you are looking for feedback!
So I thought I was gonna head to bed, but… guess I can stay up and peruse for a little while…
Thank you!!
It’s all about the he says she says bullshit.

Spot@startrek.websiteto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What all youtube channels can you recommend so that i don't fall behind on movies and series trailers ?English1·1 year agoPiping in with some odd history info. They were originally made to give theater patrons something to watch while the main film was re-wound. Theaters used to play the same movie on repeat all day until they got a new film, then it was that movie all day. There were no “move times”. If you showed up midway you just stayed until it repeated so you could catch the beginning. Also why news reels and other visual media would get played.
Psycho made the change to set times. Hitchcock did not want anyone to accidentally see the end without starting from the beginning. Shortly after that those movie trailers got bastardized into the ads we now know them as.
