I miss OMD: Unchained. 😔
Depression and anxiety greatly hindered my educational goals, so I only have an associates degree in accounting. However, the woman I married has a master’s degree in computer science and a good, well-paying job. Our first child had medical issues requiring full-time care for several years, so I am now a stay-at-home dad to two kids, guiding them through homeschool.
My family’s was “beats a sharp stick in the eye.”
There will always be exhibitionists and people who just like to fuck, but sex work is, by definition, transactional. You’re not going to see a society with free communal whores who aren’t being compensated in any way.
We’re snuggly right up until we get bitey.
Nope. Nope.
I don’t mind a hug, but I have zero desire to snuggle or wrestle with my friends, male or female.
I definitely learned useful things in community college – at least in so far as general education courses can be considered useful. There were some duds, of course. However, I don’t feel like I got much more out of university classes of the same level.
With that being said, you may just have the misfortune of attending a lackluster school.
My wife’s job has all of those amenities, too! Well, it didn’t at first, but she’s been 100% WFH since covid. She’s got an office with a window, cats in the workplace, lunch is brought to her straight from the kitchen, and she can even take breaks to go on walks with her family during the day.
Woo, grunge!
I’m a big fan of flat design, too. To be fair, I basically loved every style in its time. Regardless, I like flat.
What a pain…
It’s “accomplished” giving a clear place of congregation to many, many niche communities. It’s (anti-)social media; it’s not intended to accomplish anything big.
Peeps
Note: You will sound like a tool if you say this.
There’s something intensely satisfying about charging into a dungeon at a dead run while brutally hacking apart anything in your way. Of course, that only really works once you’re overpowered, but it is fun.
I’ve been binging the audiobooks since I started them in December. I thought it was just a standalone novel, not realizing I signed up for an epic length series. I’m in book 10 now and am going to be depressed when I have to wait for the next release. The narrator really does a phenomenal job with the broad cast of characters of various races.
French toast, if decent quality. Otherwise, waffles.
That’s what they said in The Matrix, isn’t it? 1999: the peak of human civilization. At the time, the future looked bright, but in the grand scheme of things, it hasn’t played out as we hoped.
The question implies that you would still have your human brain, not that you would think like an actual duck.
Yes.
