Right now, Lemmy is unfortunately full of a few dozen small, super-passionate echo chambers. People get very emotionally charged takes that can sound nonsense to anyone outside their bubble—but to them, it’s considered the absolute reality of the situation

This is the response of someone who doesn’t work on cars for a living. Yeah it actually does fuck up both paint and windows.
