Not super weird in the grand scheme of things but I played the shit out of FFXI using this controller and when my friends found out I was using this they were astounded at my typing speed. This was back in the era of texting with a number pad so thumb typing wasn’t as prevalent as it is today.

There is no value considered in providing stable income to the team members. No value considered in artists honing their craft. Even if the games only had marginal profits in and of themselves, considering the cost of big budget games, there is still huge value in creating and maintaining a large IP.

Solo just really suffered because everyone was so burnt out from the sequel trilogy just failing on so many levels. I didn’t bother seeing it until years after release.

Solo at least had a coherent plot with multiple memorable performances. Donald Glover and Woody Harrelson both were a ton of fun whenever on screen. Adam Driver carried the ST but Kylo’s Redemption arc in Rise was boring.

Stoked that a studio with major credit switched from Unity to Gadot. This will be the biggest release the game engine has seen and is sure to break every record. Hopefully it will make other studios seriously consider the engine and in 5 or 6 years Gadot will be the equivalent to Blender.

I strongly disagree meta’s involvement is necessary for the fediverse to grow and become big. Snowballing is a very real thing and as long as growth continues to happen, that will encourage more growth.

The threat of meta is a huge jump in growth, and communities that then centralize around those users. Once popular communities are established on meta servers, they have control. If they choose to split or defederate those communities on the non-meta side of the fence would be back to square one building from scratch. That is the problem and if we don’t see it for what it is we will be left with nothing.
